Welcome to CHW SYMPOSIUM 2019

The 2nd International Symposium on Community Health Workers, hosted by icddr,b in collaboration with Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of Bangladesh; James P. Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH), BRAC University, Bangladesh; and Save the Children, Bangladesh; will be held during November 22 – 24, 2019 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are pleased to invite the local and international community engaged in research/policy making on Community Health Workers to attend the Symposium on Community Health Workers to discuss about past successes and challenges with CHWs in order to formulate strategic pathways for better community based health programme for prevention and control of NCDs further to attain UHC and SDGs targets. This Symposium encourages submission of research findings on Community Health Workers from different parts of the World.
