International Symposium and Events GENERAL Questions
Q1. Will the general session be recorded?
A1. This session will be recorded.
Q2. Can I bring a guest to the session?
A2. Attendees with a full symposium registration for the 2nd International Symposium on CHWs will be allowed access to attend the session.
Q3. Is a daily registration option available?
A3. At this time, we are not able to offer a daily registration for the symposium.
Q4. Can I reserve a seat?
A4. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis. We will not be able to allow attendees to hold seats for other colleagues who haven’t arrived yet.
Q5. Will photographs and video recording be allowed?
A5. Still photographs are permitted during the session of the 2nd International Symposium on CHWs. This includes general sessions, concurrent sessions, programs, international forums, and exhibitor demo sessions. But mobile or other devices are requested to be muted during all the sessions. We appreciate your cooperation.
Q6. What is the dress code for the symposium?
A6. The dress code is professional casual. We suggest that you bring a jacket or sweater as some of the meeting rooms may be cold.
Q7. Is Wi-Fi available at the venue?
A7. Wireless Internet is available to symposium attendees in session rooms and most common areas. Simply need to connect to the Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel’s wireless network. Password will be provided at the venue.
Q8. Will food be provided at the symposium?
A8. Registration fees cover the food items.
Q9. Why am I receiving mailings from organizers?
A9. Mailings are sent to everyone who registered or submit abstract for the conference.
Q10. How many attendees will be participating in the symposium?
A10. The Symposium will welcome more than 400 people who are involved in Professions relevant to CHWs.

Q1. I purchased my 2nd International CHW Symposium 2019 registration on-site. How do I get a receipt?
A1. An automatic receipt will be sent to the individual who will do a registration. We recommend that you check your email inbox and junk folder for the confirmation, which will be sent from the organizing committee of 2nd International Symposium on CHW 2109: email- chw.bd@icddrb.org
Q2. Do you offer a special rate for nonprofit organizations for the International Symposium?
A2. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a special rate for nonprofit organizations. If you have not already visited our website, please visit (chwsymposium2019.icddrb.org) for our current rates.
Q3. When is the last day to register for the conference?
A3. Please visit our Symposium website (chwsymposium2019.icddrb.org) for details. After this time, attendees will need to register on-site.
Q4. Is there a discount for government employees?
A4. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a special rate for government employees of any country. If you have not already visited our website, please visit (chwsymposium2019.icddrb.org) for our current rates.
Q5. Are there discounts for international registrants?
A5. We do have a special rate for low- and middle- income countries. If you have not already visited our website, please visit (chwsymposium2019.icddrb.org) for our current rates.
Q6.Can I get a receipt for my registration?
A6. An auto generated reply mail will be sent to everyone who will do the registration.
Q7. Can my friend, spouse, or child attend the symposium sessions?
A7. Unfortunately, no. Only professionals/Policy makers who done the registration are welcome. Persons younger than 18 years of age are not permitted on the symposium.
Q8. Can my company get a discounted registration if we bring a group?
A8. No. While bringing a team for Panel presentation, everyone in the team needs to register separately to attend the symposium.
Q9. Are any preconference workshops or certificate programs included with my symposium registration?
A9. No, there are no such workshops or certificate programs.

A1. Luggage and coat check will be available in venue’s Lobby. Laptop bags will be accepted.

International Symposium - Session Recordings
Q1. Are the keynote speech recordings from the 2nd International CHW Symposium 2019 going to be available?
A1. Only keynote speech recording will be available.
Q2. Who will have access to the 2nd International CHW Symposium 2019 recordings?
A2. Full conference attendees, speakers, and exhibitors with symposium registration done reference IDs will be notified by email with instructions for accessing the recordings.
Q3. When will the 2nd International CHW Symposium 2019 recordings become available? And how long will they be available?
A3. Recordings will be available approximately 30 days after the conference has ended. Attendees will receive an email with a link to the recordings when they are available. Access to the recordings will last for only 90 days in the website after attendees have received the link.
Q4. How do I access the recordings of conference sessions?
A4. Through the website of the symposium one can download the recordings if they have done the registration before.
Q5. Will I be able to download the conference recordings and save them?
A5. Yes. The recordings are a mix of video and audio synced to presentation slides. Recordings can be accessed through the link and will be downloadable.
