Panel Presentation Instructions


  • One panel can submit only one abstract. 
  • Everyone in the panel needs to register separately. 
  • Abstract should not be published earlier in other journals.
  • Authors should indicate the sub-theme under which their abstract falls.
  • The title should be in bold, sentence case with no full stop at the end and no underlining.
  • Authors’ names and institutional affiliations should be included under the title. Authors’ names should be in the format of first name, middle initial (if any) and surname. Authors’ names should be separated by a comma. Degrees or professional titles should not be included. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. The telephone number of the presenting author must be provided.
  • Authors’ affiliations should include department, institute, town and country. The author list must be complete. Where authors are from a number of different institutions, the appropriate institution number from the affiliation list should be given as a superscript number immediately after each author’s name, e.g.: Micheal Lubowa 1, Lucie Smith 2. Email addresses of all authors must be provided under the affiliations.
  • Research abstracts should be formatted into the following subsections: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. These subheadings should be in bold and NOT all caps. Appropriate subsections should be used for other abstracts.
  • The body of the abstract should not exceed 300 words. Where acronyms are used, they need to be defined when first mentioned.
  • Abstracts should not include tables, figures or references. In case of any acknowledgements, they should be brief and included after conclusions.
  • Abstracts should be prepared in Times New Romans, 12 point font size and single spaced.
  • All accepted abstracts for scholarships will be published together as an abstract book. The corresponding author should indicate if they would not want their abstract to be published or has been previously published in a journal including as part of a full article. For abstracts to be published, all named authors should agree to the submission of the abstract for publication.
  • Abstracts which will not get the scholarship could be selected for poster presentation.
  • Abstracts should be submitted online through the event website page.
  • Scientific Committee will select which abstract will get the scholarship based on few criteria’s such as relevance and so on.
